Welcome to the Fairfield High School

FHS 1980 on Facebook

For those who may not be aware, our former teacher (now a nearby neighbor of mine - how weird that is sometimes...) John Weaver is a published author. Here is the Elkhart Truth article of his family history that he turned into a book/story:

Yes, sad to say, but we are now looking at the 30 Year Reunion in the rear view mirror.

But for everyone that attended, thank you for making each event memorable, and a great success!  We had over 50 classmates that attended different functions, and the Hog Roast finale was near 80 total people.

Ron "Crazy Man" Culp's Friday night party was by far the most enthusiastic and sleep depriving event of the weekend.  Over 40 people attended, and there were well over 30 that had no chance of being in bed before 3 a.m.

The Hog Roast was a fitting end to a great reunion. Thank you Matt & Lanette Kritzman for being such gracious hosts at your home. Thank you Mark Radabaugh, Burne Miller, Kevin Plank, and Bob Vale for the awesome music that officially put an exclamation point on our time together.  Bob - the song that you wrote after 9/11 and sang for us was something we will remember for a long time.  Kevin - well, what can we say, as much as we would like to forget your song - we can't.

So we can now relive the reunion in the rear view mirror, and from everyone's unique perspective.  Please post the pictures you took by clicking on  the Prior Reunion Photos navigation button.  As you will see, your photos will have a gallery of their own, and you can offer your own creative comments.   For those of you seeking instant gratification, check out the photos already posted by Burne Miller and Linda (Willard) Kauffman in their classmate profiles.

Mrs. Cesco and Miss B - great to see you and thanks for attending (we are sorry about what Kevin put you through, Mrs. Cesco).

Bob Vale - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for starting the process and leading us across the finish line!

OK everyone, it is time to get fired up (and SIGNED UP!!) for our reunion activities.  We have added an up-to-date list of which classmates are registered for each function.  Click on the navigation button for each event to see who has officially registered - the list is at the bottom of each page, and will be updated every day from now until the fun begins!

The totals below do not include approximately 5 classmates (plus their guests) logged on the web site who have indicated they are attending reunion events (but haven't officially registered), plus over 25 classmates we are still making personal contact with to encourage their attendance.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA - with Steve Bontrager signing up to attend today, you have 100% attendance with Glenn Anderson and Lon Kauffman also making the trek.  In a 2nd place tie right now are VIRGINIA (also at 100% but only 1 person - attaboy Tom Wine!) and MINNESOTA (yep, we count too).  Hey FLORIDA - that means you Chris (Mabie) Young, you can vault into 2nd place if that Harley is fired up and ready to travel.   Come on INDIANA - what are you waiting for!

If you haven't already done so, SIGN UP and ENCOURAGE SOMEONE not yet on the list to register.
